Sunday 8th July - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – sunny periods.

After a top 34 windsurf foil on the River Stour yesterday at Wrabness where I caught my fingers which are still badly swollen when I woke so it looks like a few days taking it easy but I still managed my exercises in the back garden before having our usual Tuesday visit to our friend Mary. Then at 5 Mag and I went for a walk down the the prom at the end of our road and walked just past The Fludyers hotel, just a couple of moans, sadly half a dozen tatty old beach huts had been put back on the prom near the Spa theatre blocking off half its width making it harder to walk/cycle past, ther are enough huts in Felixstowe without putting them on the prom! Then we checked out the new road markings at The Fludyers with the aim of stopping campervans and to be honest we have lost about a third of the parking with two huge bus stops and a massive spot for motorbikes in the prom spot with the best sea view and to be honest I have never seen a motor bike park there! Moan over, sadly looks like we have another heatwave coming, 30 degrees is too hot for us! On the plus side the lovely Chris Page used one of my pics on the local weather:)
